Power Distribution Unit (PDU) Replacement
Reason for Maintenance:
The PDU experienced a partial failure this past weekend, and as a proactive measure to avoid any further potential failures, our team has elected to replace it entirely.
Action to be taken:
Our team will be bringing all UK servers offline briefly and connecting it to the new PDU. Once this process is completed we'll bring the server back online immediately.
Clients affected:
All shared servers in the UK.

START - Thursday February 7th, 2019 @ 23:00 GMT
FINISH - Thursday February 7th, 2019 @ 04:00PM GMT

Estimated amount of downtime:
We understand the importance of keeping your sites and services online, and our team will be working as quickly as possible to complete this task. While we don't expect the maintenance to last the entire duration of the maintenance window, our system administrators are estimating anywhere from 2-4 hours of service unavailability as the PDU is replaced. Should any complications arise, this process could potentially last longer than the projected window, but our team will be doing their best to mitigate this possibility and complete the migration on schedule.
